We asked David Jessup, Jr. of Digi-Bridge (Class of 2016) about his SEED20 experience. He had three minutes on stage to tell his story so we’ve given him three questions to share his reflections!
Three Words to Describe Digi-Bridge: Agile. Innovative. Intentional.
Impact of SEED20 on Digi-Bridge: SEED20 fostered forward-minded connections to leading organizations including 3D Systems, Reemprise Fund, and of course, Social Venture Partners (SVP). We worked with SEED20 ‘16 alum Jill Bjers of Code for Charlotte to redevelop our #STEAMSaturdays digital learning platform and have collaborated with other alums to strengthen our impact in the community.
Advice to the SEED20 Class of 2018: Immerse yourself in the process. Take advice from your coaches and listen to feedback from your peers. Make SEED20 a priority.
SVP was captivated by Digi-Bridge’s innovative approach to bridge the digital divide. Last year, Digi-Bridge applied and became an SVP Investee, receiving financial and human resources in a three-year partnership. David shares, “Initial personal disappointment after the OnStage loss was quickly remedied as SVP wrapped their arms around us organizationally and extended incredible opportunities for us to reconnect with alums, meet supporters and engage with prospective donors. SEED20 reminded me to embrace the journey!”
