BELL Sasha Trosch Building Educated Leaders for Life (BELL) transforms the academic achievements, self-confidence, and life trajectories of lower performing students. BELL’s summer program allows certified teachers to deliver small-group academic instruction and enrichment activities and to support community engagement by children. BELL scholars gain self-confidence and become more prepared for classroom success.
ArtPop Wendy Hickey Art + Public Outdoor Project = ArtPop! ArtPop promotes local artists’ works and brings art to communities through available media space. ArtPop connects communities to their local artists and beautifies the streets at the same time. #enjoyyourcommute
ANSWER Scholarship Danielle Peoples ANSWER Scholarship helps mothers in the Charlotte region earn college degrees and become strong and self-sufficient. Through mentorship and workshops, these women find success. Their children are inspired to follow mom’s example and work harder in school. ANSWER has funded 83 college scholarships for 44 women since 2006.
