Charlotte Rescue Mission (CRM) provides long-term, residential, substance abuse programs for men, women and their children suffering from addiction. When CRM participated in SEED20, the intention was to empower their clients to become contributing members of society by opening a restaurant to employ program graduates and teach essential life skills to help break the cycle of poverty. This vision was realized with the opening of the Community Matters Cafe.
